Leighswood[1] is an suburb and housing estate of Aldridge, in the Metropolitan Borough of Walsall in the West Midlands county of England.[2] It is located to the northeast of Walsall and north of Aldridge. It is adjoined to the suburbs of Stubber's Green and Walsall Wood.[3] It is mostly a mix of residential, industrial and commercial estates.[4] It is also home to the Aldridge Transport Museum.[5] The area was originally built for workers at the former Leighswood Colliery.[6]
