Kot Chibban

Kot Chibban is a small village in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan located within foothills of the Himalayas in the district and tehsil of Bhimber. It has a population of approximately a thousand people living in 120 houses.

Kot is located on the site of an old citadel which was burned down along with the town in 960 AD by the Maharaja of Kashmir after local governor ended his allegiance to the Maharaja in Srinagir.
