Kokila Kaushiklate

Kokila Kaushiklate (born ) is a visually challenged para athlete from Haryana, India. She won a bronze medal in the Judo Women's 48-kg J2 event at the 2022 Asian Para Games held at Gangzhou, China.[1][2][3]

Early life

Kaushiklate is from Kasun village in Jind district but currently resides in Azad Nagar, Hisar, Haryana. Her father is a teacher and her mother is a social worker.[1] She is supported by sports NGO, Olympic Gold Quest.[4]

Career

Kaushiklate first won an international medal at the Commonwealth Judo Championships winning a silver medal in 2019.[5] She is an 'Indusind for Sports' trainee. She is studying Class 12 in the Government Girls Senior Secondary School in Rupana village.[1]
