Anthony Offiah,(born 28 April 1994) professionally known as King Perryy, is a Nigerian dancehall[1]singer and songwriter.[2]he rose to limelight with the hit single 'Man on Duty' featuring Timaya which was released in 2018 under DM Records owned by Timaya.[3] 

Early life

Anthony was born on 28 April 1994 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State,[4]Nigeria and originally hails from Ezeagu, Enugu State Nigeria,[5]  he attended primary and secondary school education in south eastern region and later had his degree in Project Management at the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State.[6] [7] 

Career

In 2014 King Perryy released his debut single titled 'Walakolombo' a song with guitar by Fiokee and later got introduced to Timaya.[8] In 2018, King Perryy was signed to Timaya’s Dem Mama records and they released their hit collaboration titled 'Kom Kom' alongside Patoranking in December 2018.[9] 

In December 2019 he released his solo hit single 'Work N Grind' which achieved remarkable success [10] [11]In 2019, King Perryy headlined "East Meets West" in Uganda.[12]He also released another hit single titled 'Murder' featuring Teni which peaked at the top 10 MTV Base West Africa count down.[13] 

On April 28, 2021, he released his debut studio album titled "Citizen Of The World" which features Phyno, Mayorkun, Kizz Daniel, Timaya, PsychoYP and Oxlade[14]He signed a partnership deal with Jones Worldwide for artist and label services in 2021.[15] 

He was nominated for 2022 Ghana-Nigeria Music Awards Festival for Reggae Artist Of The Year.[16]In 2022 he released a compilation project titled "African Boy" under his own label Continental Music.[17] [18][19] 

He released his EP titled Continental Playlist in 2023 with guest features from Tekno,[20]1da Banton, Victony, and Ria Sean.[21][22]In 2024, He released a 2 pack singles 'Confirm Parole' featuring Ajebo Hustlers and Dandizzy[23] and 'Gbege' featuring PsychoYP and Kaestyle,[24]he also drop an EP titled 'Niggas From The South'.[25]
