Kheyrabad (Persian: خيراباد)[a] was a village in, and the former capital of, Fajr Rural District of the Central District of Yazd County, Yazd province, Iran.[4] The capital of the rural district has been transferred to the village of Shahneh.

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 5,794 in 1,596 households.[2][b]
