On 24 December 2004, Rossa released a new album entitled "Kembali" with a Pop Progressive theme. Before this album was officially released, the two newest singles had already been made into soap opera soundtracks. The first is that the song "Pudar" became the soundtrack for the soap opera "Do'iku Beken" produced by Multi Vision Plus for RCTI. Second, the song "Bicara Pada Bintang" for the soundtrack of the soap opera "Pura-Pura Buta" produced by Soraya Intercine Films for Indosiar.[1]

Even more special, Yoyo (Padi) also helped in arranging the song "Wanita Yang Kau Pilih" created by young musician Dino. Several other great musicians involved include Icha (Jikustik), Lucky (Element), and many more. There are also senior musicians such as Tohpati, Melly Goeslaw and Anto Hoed. Even though two of her songs have appeared on the radio, Rossa still has her mainstay song, namely "Aku Bukan Untukmu". Not only successful in Indonesia, this album was actually able to bring Rossa's music to neighboring countries such as Malaysia, Singapore & Brunei Darussalam.[2]

Rossa's new album was then released in Malaysia on May 23 2005, where Rossa also held a show at Planet Hollywood Malaysia to promote her album. This album sold more than 800,000 albums in Indonesia alone and received the 2005 AMI Awards for Best Progressive Pop Female Singer.[3]
