Kapanga mana is a species of Hahniidae spider endemic to New Zealand.[1]
Taxonomy
[edit]This species was described in 1970 by Ray Forster from a female specimen.[1] The holotype is stored in Te Papa Museum under registration number AS.000063.[2]
Description
[edit]The female s recorded at 1.84mm in length. The cephalothorax and legs are orange brown. The abdomen has a chevron pattern dorsally.[1]
Distribution
[edit]This species is only known from Nelson, New Zealand.[1]
Conservation status
[edit]Under the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Data Deficient" with the qualifiers of "Data Poor: Size" and "Data Poor: Trend".[3]
