Kaftarak Rural District (Persian: دهستان كفترك)[3] is in the Central District of Shiraz County, Fars province, Iran.[4] It is administered from the city of Shiraz. The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Nasrabad.[5]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 32,436 in 8,287 households.[6] There were 10,043 inhabitants in 2,815 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 14,485 in 4,438 households. The most populous of its 18 villages was Mah-e Firuzan, with 3,203 people.[2]
