Jumeira Baccalaureate School (JBS)[2] is a Pre KG to Grade 12 school in Jumeirah District, Dubai City, the United Arab Emirates. It is a private institution managed by Taaleem,[3] a UAE-based company and one of the largest education providers in the Middle East.

Academics

The school is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, providing education from Pre-KG to Grade 12.[4] The school follows the IB programme throughout, with the IB Primary Years Programme, IB Middle Years Programme, IB Diploma Programme and the IB Career-related programme.

Extracurricular Activities

The school launched the Fitnovation Initiative in 2016, aiming to improve the physical being of students and their parents.[5] The event runs through the month of November, encouraging physical exercise and healthy eating habits among students and parents.

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) is an educational quality assurance authority in Dubai, United Arab Emirates which has rated the school 'Very Good' since the 2017-18 academic year.[6]
