John Henry Parkes was a Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) politician who served as High Sheriff of Belfast between January 1995 and 1996, as well as a City Councillor for the Balmoral DEA from 1985 to 1997.[1]
Background
[edit]At the 1985 local elections, Parkes was elected for the Balmoral District on Belfast City Council. He was subsequently re-elected in 1989 and 1993.[2]
