Jeremy Ausmus is an American professional poker player.

Career

2012

Ausmus first played in the World Series of Poker and got his breakthrough when he finished fifth in the 2012 World Series of Poker Main Event for $2,155,313.[2]

2013

Ausmus started off 2013 by winning the Deepstack Extravaganza II (Main Event) for $121,853[3] and, bringing this momentum to the World Series of Poker, Ausmus followed that up with a third-place finishing in the $3,000 No Limit Hold'em - Mixed Max (Event #27) for $132,748,[4] and a 12th place in the high roller event $111,111 No Limit Hold'em - One Drop High Roller (Event #47) for another $308,622,[5] before winning his maiden bracelet at the subsequent World Series of Poker Europe (€1,500 + 150 Pot Limit Omaha (Event #3)) for yet another $95,054.[6]

2014

The year started off in the same way as last year with Ausmus winning Deepstack Extravaganza I (Main Event) for $148,694[7] and then, while at the World Series of Poker, finishing runner-up in the $10,000 No Limit Hold'em - Six Handed (Event #32) for a payday of $414,104.[8]

2015

This year provided the first recognition on the European Poker Tour, with Ausmus final tabling the €25,000 + 500 No Limit Hold'em - High Roller 8 Handed (Event #61) for $209,548,[9] and at the World Poker Tour where Ausmus finished second in a side event ($5,000 + 200 No Limit Hold'em (Event #12)) for $190,505.[10]

2018

A new runner-up position followed this year in the $5,250 No Limit Hold'em - SHRPO Championship (Event #19) for $540,459[11] and was followed up with Ausmus first World Poker Tour final table with a third-place finish for $162,597.[12]

2019

Ausmus finishes runner-up in the $5,300 No Limit Hold'em (Event #5) at a PokerStars Caribbean Adventure side event for $213,420,[13] and then musters up his, up until that point, best finish in a non-hold'em bracelet event in the $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha - 8-Handed Championship (Event #52) for $325,693 (fourth place),[14] rounding off the year with a runner-up finish in the $10,000 + 300 No Limit Hold'em - MILLIONS Vegas for $650,000.[15]

2021

Later in the year, Ausmus wins his second and third bracelet, in the $1,000 No Limit Hold'em - COVID-19 Relief Charity Event (Event #3) ($48,687), and $50,000 Pot Limit Omaha - High Roller (Event #84) ($1,188,918) respectively.[16][17]

2022

After early success (January–March) on the PokerGo Tour - come by Ausmus amount of winnings in excess of $2,200,000[18] - success was then also brought in the Triton Poker Series as Ausmus cashes for over $400,000 (May)[18] - before Ausmus hits a bracelet once again that summer at the ($3,000 Limit Hold'em - Six-Handed (Event #23)), for $142,147.[19] Later that summer Ausmus won his first circuit ring and his fifth bracelet ($53,864; $51,807) - both in online events.[20][21]

2023

First major results this year, on the venue of PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, was the winning of $2,200 No Limit Hold'em - Deep Stack (Event #17) for $144,610;[22] third place in $25,000 Pot Limit Omaha - PCA PLO High Roller (Event #33) for $163,750;[23] and thirteenth place in the $24,500 + 500 No Limit Hold'em - PSPC Main Event (Event #48) for an additional $238,700.[24] Second major results this year includes another successful strike on the PokerGo Tour (US Poker Open) as he cashed for $149,600 (2nd place (Event #5)) and $296,000 (3rd place (Event #10)).[25][26]

At the 2023 World Series of Poker Ausmus recorded a fifth place finish in the $100,000 No-Limit Hold'em (High Roller) (Event #29) (for a total of $619,919);[27] another final table (4th) in the $7,000+3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Secret Bounty (Event #35) (carrying with it a total of $233,690);[28] an outright win in the $3,200 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller (Online Event #8) (equalling $360,036);[29] and yet another final table in the $25,000 Pot Limit Omaha High Roller (8-Handed) (Event #57) (cleared as for a total of $209,392).[30]
