James Pitia Morgan is a South Sudanese politician and diplomat who has served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of South Sudan from 31 August 2023[1] until 25 April 2024, when he was appointed by President Salva Kiir Mayardit as envoy to the African Great Lakes countries.[2] He previously served as Ambassador to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union.[3]
