Jamalabad (Persian: جمال اباد)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Jamalabad Rural District of Sharifabad District of Pakdasht County, Tehran province, Iran.[4]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,717 in 439 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,099 people in 554 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,501 people in 698 households.[2]
