Jaime Antonio Sandoval Rosales (born 12 September 1971) is a Chilean former professional footballer who played as a defender for clubs in Chile and Indonesia.[1]
Career
[edit]In his early years as a professional footballer, Sandoval played for Municipal Las Condes[2] and San Antonio Unido in the Chilean Tercera División.[3]
In the Chilean Primera División, he played for Provincial Osorno (1993),[4] Deportes Concepción (1997),[5] Rangers (1998–99, 2001)[6] and Coquimbo Unido (2002–03).[7]
In the second level of the Chilean football, he played for Cobresal (1995–96)[8] and Rangers (2000), with whom he got promotion to the top division.[9]
In his last year, he moved to Indonesia and played for PSIM Yogyakarta (2004), where he scored four goals[10] and coincided with his compatriot César Bravo.[11]
Post-retirement
[edit]Sandoval has worked for the Ministry of Public Works in Talca and has represented its football team, Vialidad, in both friendlies[12] and the local championship for workers, alongside former professional players such as César Muena [es] and Ramón Castro.[2]
