Ja'Mori Maclin is an American football wide receiver for the Kentucky Wildcats. He previously played for the Missouri Tigers and the North Texas Mean Green.

High school career

Maclin attended Kirkwood High School in Kirkwood, Missouri. He finished his high school career with 113 receptions for 2,029 yards and 22 touchdowns.[1] A three-star recruit, he committed to play college football at the University of Missouri over offers from Iowa, Indiana, and Arizona State.[2]

College career

Maclin played sparingly in two seasons with Missouri, recording one reception for five yards.[3] On October 20, 2021, Maclin entered the transfer portal.[4]

North Texas

Before the start of the 2022 season, Maclin announced that he would be transferring to North Texas.[5] In his first season with North Texas, he recorded 16 receptions for 380 yards and two touchdowns.[6] The following year, Maclin caught 57 receptions for 1,004 yards and 11 touchdowns.[7] Against Temple, he caught six passes for a career-high 163 yards and two touchdowns.[8][9] Following the conclusion of the 2023 season, Maclin entered the transfer portal for a second time.[10]

Kentucky

On December 13, 2023, Maclin announced that he would transfer to the University of Kentucky to play for the Kentucky Wildcats.[11][12]

Personal life

Maclin is the cousin of former Pro Bowl wide receiver Jeremy Maclin.[14]
