Isabel van den Berg (born 2 February 2005) is a Dutch sprinter. She competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics.[2]
Career

[edit]In February 2023, she competed in the Dutch U20 Indoors Championships as an 18-year-old. She finished second in the 60 meters with a time of 7.67 seconds. The following day she won gold in the 200 meters in a personal best of 24.63 seconds. Ten following week, she reached the final of the 200 meters at the senior Dutch Indoor Athletics Championships in Apeldoorn, running a personal best time of 24.51 seconds.[3]
In July 2023, she finished seventh at the senior Dutch Athletics Championships in Breda over 200 metres running 24.59 seconds.[4]
2024
[edit]She finished fifth in both the 100 metres and 200 metres races at the 2024 Dutch Athletics Championships in June 2024, running two personal best times in the process (11.53 and 23.63 seconds).[5]
In July 2024, she was named in the Dutch relay pool for the 2024 Summer Olympics.[6] On 8 August 2024, she ran as part of the Dutch 4x100m relay team in Paris which qualified for the final.[7][8]
Personal life
[edit]She based herself in Aalsmeer from 2019. She is a member of the Athletics club Phanos. She was educated at Amstelveen College. Her sister Milou is also an athlete, who has competed in shot put and hurdles.[9][10][11]
