Inter Tribal Council of Arizona

The Inter Tribal Council of Arizona represents the unitied voice of 21 tribal nations. These tribes are: the Ak-Chin Indian Community[1]; the Cocopah Indian Tribe[2]; the Colorado River Indian Tribes[3]; the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation[4]; the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe[5]; the Gila River Indian Community[6]; the Havasupai Tribe[7]; the Hopi Tribe[8]; the Hualapai Tribe[9]; the Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians,[10]; the Pascua Yaqui Tribe[11]; the Pueblo of Zuni[12]; the Quechan Tribe[13]; the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community[14]; the San Carlos Apache Tribe[15]; the San Juan Southern Paiute[16]; the Tohono O’odham Nation[17]; the Tonto Apache Tribe[18]; the White Mountain Apache Tribe[19]; the Yavapai-Apache Nation[20]; and the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe.[21]

The council's programs and advocacy include cultural issues, health, education, environmental issues, and community issues.[22]
