Ima Sabitri is a 2016 Manipuri documentary film directed by Bobo Khuraijam.[1][2] It was the opening film in the non-feature section of the Indian Panorama at the 47th International Film Festival of India 2016.[3][4][5]

Ima Sabitri got official selections at Kolkata International Film Festival 2016, Women of the Lens Film Digital Broadcast Festival 2017, Film Southasia 2017, XIV International Film Schools Festival - Workshop 2017 (Kinoproba) and 2nd Nagaland Film Festival 2019.[6][7][8][9] It was the opening film (fiction) at the Festival of Cinemas of Manipur 2022, a 15-day long multi-lingual film festival organised by MSFDS in April 2022.[10][11]

Synopsis

Ima Sabitri showcased the life of a performing arts wizard, Sabitri Heisnam, of Kalakshetra Manipur.[12]
