Hyaenodictis is an extinct genus of mesonychian that inhabited Eurasia and North America during the Eocene epoch.

Classification

Previously thought to be a junior synonym of Dissacus, Hyaenodictis is now considered a distinct genus and contains the European species H. rougierae and H. raslanloubatieri and the North American species H. willwoodensis.[1]
