Horná Mariková (Hungarian: Felsőmarikó) is a village and municipality in Považská Bystrica District in the Trenčín Region of north-western Slovakia.
History
[edit]In historical records the village as Horná Mariková was first mentioned in 1828 but first sign of existence is from 1321.
Geography
[edit]The municipality lies at an altitude of 470 metres and covers an area of 47.458 km2. It has a population of about 648 people.
