The Hope Township School District is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade from Hope Township, in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.[3][4][5]
As of the 2022–23 school year, the district, comprising one school, had an enrollment of 131 students and 18.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 7.0:1.[1] In the 2016-17 school year, the district was tied for the 30th-smallest enrollment of any school district in the state.[6]
The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "FG", the fourth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.[7]
Public school students in ninth through twelfth grades attend Belvidere High School, together with students from Harmony Township Belvidere, New Jersey and White Township, as part of sending/receiving relationships with the Belvidere School District.[3][8] As of the 2020–21 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 367 students and 32.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.4:1.[9]

The board appoints a superintendent to oversee the district's day-to-day operations and a business administrator to supervise the business functions of the district.[13][14]
