Highways of Life is a 2020 Manipuri film directed by Amar Maibam and produced by Films Division of India.[1] The film got selections at the 51st International Film Festival of India (Indian Panorama) in the non-feature section and 13th Festival of Southasian Documentaries 2022, Kathmandu.[2][3]

Highways of Life is a detailed look at the high octane lives of Manipur’s highway truckers. The film follows a group of truckers as they manoeuvre through the highways of North East India, putting their lives on line, ferrying essential commodities to serve the people of the landlocked state in the midst of two intense public movements played out on the roads.[4]
