Hezi Shayb

Hezi Aviram Shayb was born in Israel. Serving as the CEO of the Israeli Vehicle Importers Association since 2018.[1] Has nearly three decades of leadership experience in the Insurance and Automotive industry. His professional journey includes key positions such as Chairman of the New Kopel Group, Deputy CEO of MCA Group, and CEO of Opel Israel. In 2023, he was certified as a Business Arbitrator by the Faculty of Law at Bar Ilan University. He is a graduate of the Naval Combat Officers Academy and holds the rank of retired Major from the Israeli Defense Forces. His experience extends to sports management, where, between 2009 and 2012, he served as the manager for Hagar Finer.,[2][3][4] a five-time Women's World Boxing Champion. He is a professional strategist in crisis management with a long experience in assessing risks, managing crises, and mitigating them. In 2016, he was named “The CEO with the most dynamic growth” in Romania by Business Magazine.[5] He was also honored by Business Magazine as one of the “Top 100 Most Admired CEOs in Romania” in 2016.[6] In the academic realm, he has been an Associate Professor at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies.[7] since 2017. His educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Economics and Crisis Management, awarded by Technical University of Moldova, and a second Ph.D. in Economics and International Affairs, with a specific focus on Strategies in the Global Business Environment, granted by Bucharest University of Economic Studies. He is also an author, having published "Enterprise Crisis Management",[8] in 2021, which has been recognized as one of the top crisis management eBooks by BookAuthority, standing at #14 on their list, where he presents a practical advanced algorithm for risk detection, prevention, and mitigation in a range of organizations. In 2023, he published "Drive Against Crisis" [9] proposing an economic model for governments and automakers to mitigate crises, accidents, and pollution. His latest publication, "Be The Game Changer" [10] in 2024, offers practical advice for overcoming personal and professional hurdles aimed at empowering young leaders and entrepreneurs.
