Herschell C. Turner (March 29, 1938 – August 13, 2024) was an American professional basketball player.
Turner played basketball at Shortridge High School in Indianapolis and college basketball for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.[1] He was selected by the Syracuse Nationals as the 45th overall pick of the 1960 NBA draft.[1]
Turner played for the Anaheim Amigos[2] and Pittsburgh Pipers[1] of the American Basketball Association (ABA) during the 1967–68 season.[1] He also played for the Harlem Globetrotters.
Following his basketball career, Turner became an exhibited painter.[3] He died in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on August 13, 2024, at the age of 86.[4]
