Herdland Township is a township in Clay County, Iowa, USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 210.
History
[edit]Herdland Township was created in 1873.[1]
Geography
[edit]Herdland Township covers an area of 35.57 square miles (92.1 km2) and contains no incorporated settlements, although the unincorporated community of Cornell is located here. According to the USGS, it contains three cemeteries: Burr Oak, Liberty and Osborn.
The streams of Montgomery Creek and Willow Creek run through this township.
