Henok Teklab (born 16 November 1998) is a German professional footballer who plays as an winger for Union Saint-Gilloise.
Career
[edit]Teklab is a youth product of Rot-Weiss Frankfurt and Germania Schwanheim. He began his senior career with Germania Schwanheim in the Hessenliga in 2017.[1] That same summer, he returned to Rot-Weiss Frankfurt for a season, before moving to Hessen Dreieich for the 2018–19 season.[2][3] He followed that up with year-long stints at Ginsheim and Bayern Alzenau.[4] On 28 June 2021, he transferred to Preußen Münster on a two-year contract.[5] He spent two seasons with them in the Regionalliga from 2021 to 2023, with 25 goals in 65 games.[6]
On 14 June 2023, Teklab transferred to the Belgian First Division A club Union Saint-Gilloise on a four-year contract.[7] He made his senior and professional debut with Union Saint-Gilloise as a late substitute in a 4–0 Belgian First Division A loss to Mechelen on 19 August 2023.[8]
