Hemithecium is a genus of lichen-forming fungi in the family Graphidaceae.[1] The genus was circumscribed by Vittore Benedetto Antonio Trevisan de Saint-Léon in 1853.

As of April 2023, Species Fungorum (in the Catalogue of Life) accepts 22 species of Hemithecium.[2]
