Hemant Khandelwal, born on September 3, 1964, currently serves as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Madhya Pradesh, India ref. Previously, he held the position of Member of Parliament (MP) in the 14th Lok Sabha of India. His constituency is Betul in Madhya Pradesh, and he is affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Following the passing of his father and MP, Vijay Kumar Khandelwal, Hemant Khandelwal succeeded him as the MP from Betul in the by-elections of 2008. He was later elected as MLA from Betul in 2013 and served his full term till 2018. Post this he was again elected as MLA in 2023 and is currently serving the people of his constituency in his capacity as MLA.

He has studied law and is a businessman by profession. He has 1 daughter and 1 son.

Hemant Khandelwal was born on 3 September 1964 in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India. He currently resides in Betul, Madhya Pradesh, India. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and a Bachelor's degree in Law, both obtained from J.H. Government College, Betul.

He is married to Ritu Khandelwal from west Bengal. He is a parent of a son and a daughter. He is the son of late Vijay Khandelwal. He held the position of state treasurer in Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s government
