Middle-clicking "log out" doesn't work like it used to

I dislike this new (a few weeks old?) feature, when you use the middle-click to "Log out" yet it doesn't log out but instead asks you in the new background browser tab: "Do you want to log out?". Can I disable this function, I want it to work like it did before for years; sometimes I like to stay on the page where I log out, so I use the "middle-click log out" strategy to do that on many websites. 85.76.163.182 (talk) 13:56, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

Cannot Login, Logout, or Access Site

Hi, accessing wikipedia just spins and never connects. The logout link does nothing, the login link does nothing. Logout certainly does not log out. I had to delete my wikipedia cookies just to access the site again. My user account is User:Uprisingengineer, but in order to even access the site to complain, I made a new account. Regarding "365 days"

This could be a silly question, but why is there a limit on how long one can be 'kept logged in'? I am referring to the checkbox on the Special:UserLogin page, where it says Keep me logged in (for up to 365 days). Thank you. Acalycine (talk) 06:04, 10 May 2020 (UTC)

Logged out upon switching languages?

Why am I recently getting logged out when switching to different languages on Wiki to check for article translations? Anyone else noticing this behavior? It makes editing international subjects rather tedious. - Indefensible (talk) 05:12, 18 December 2022 (UTC)
