Hello Mummy is a 2024 Indian Malayalam horror comedy thriller film directed by Vaishakh Elans.[1] The film released in theatres on 21 November 2024.[2] The film stars Sharaf U Dheen, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Sunny Hinduja (in his Malayalam debut)[3] and Jagadish in lead roles.[4]
Synopsis
[edit]Boney a carefree and aimless man finds his life turned upside down after marriage when he is forced to deal with the restless spirit of his obsessive-compulsive mother-in-law, who refuses to leave her daughters side.

Reception
[edit]The film received a positive response from critics and audience.[8][9][10] A critic from Times Now rated the film 3/5 stars and wrote that "A Fun Horror Comedy That's Cause For A Few Laughs".[11] Onmanorama wrote: "Sharafudheen brings the fun to this horror-comedy".[12] The South First rated 3 out of 5 stars and reviewed : "Sharafudheen and Aishwarya Lekshmi shine in this engaging horror-comedy".[13] The Indian Express wrote:"Sharaf U Dheen, Aishwarya Lekshmi’s horror comedy keeps flapping its wings, but fails to take off".[14] OTTPlay rated the film 3/5 stars and wrote:"Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sharafudheen’s supernatural comedy is fun till the laughs last".[15] Cinema Express reviewed:"Sharaf's slapstick humour alone can't save this spiritless horror comedy".[16]
