Gymnostachyum is a genus of flowering plants in the family Acanthaceae.[2] It includes 50 species native to tropical Asia, ranging from the Indian subcontinent through Indochina to southern China, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Java, and the Philippines.[1]
