Gorgyra is an Afrotropical genus of grass skippers in the family Hesperiidae. Larvae feed mainly on Connaraceae, including Rourea. Other recorded larval food plants include Drypetes and Macadamia.[2][3] Their habitat is generally lowland tropical rain forest and savanna.
