Gordoani is a village and a gram panchayat within the jurisdiction of the Jaynagar Majilpur police station in the Jaynagar II CD block in the Baruipur subdivision of the South 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal.

As per 2011 Census of India, Gordoani had a total population of 20,984.[3]

Transport

Jaynagar-Jamtala Road links Gordoani to the State Highway 1.[4]

Jaynagar Majilpur railway station is located nearby.[4]

Healthcare

Sri Ramakrishna Rural Hospital, with 30 beds, at Nimpith, is the major government medical facility in the Jaynagar II CD block.[5]
