Godwords Amedome (born 7 October 2002) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a right-back for MFK Snina.[1]
Career
[edit]MTK Budapest
[edit]MTK Budapest announced his transfer from MŠK Žilina Africa on 16 February 2021.[2][3][4] In the summer of 2022, he travelled with the first team to a training camp in Slovenia.[5] He made his debut at MTK as a substitute against Diósgyőr on 9 September 2022.[6] He scored his first goal in the Hungarian Cup against Felsőzsolca.[7]
Nyíregyháza Spartacus
[edit]On 26 January 2022, MTK loaned him to Nyíregyháza in the hope of more playing opportunities.[8][9][10] Four days later, he made his debut for the team in a league match against Tiszakécske, coming on as a substitute for Gábor Jánvári in the 86th minute.[11] He played a total of 9 games for Nyíregyháza.
Jonava
[edit]On 31 July 2023, his contract was terminated with MTK Budapest and signed for a Lithuanian second division team Jonava.[12]
Snina
[edit]On 22 July 2024, Godwords signed a contract with Slovakian club MFK Snina.[13] He scored his first goal for the club on 6 October 2024 against Poprad in the league.[14][15]
