Girteka Group is a transport company based in the city of Vilnius, Lithuania, operating in Europe and Scandinavia. It was founded in 1996 by Mindaugas Raila who, at the age of 24, bought a single used truck complete with a trailer.[2][3]
Today, it is one of Europe's largest transport companies.[4] Girteka Group delivers more than 775,000 full truck loads (FTLs) every year, with more than 9,200 fully owned trucks and 9,800 trailers that operate in Europe.[1][5]
