Georgy Ivanovich Gushchenko (Russian: Георгий Иванович Гущенко; 2 March 1931 — 8 January 2024) was a Russian rower who represented the Soviet Union. He competed at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki with the men's coxed four where they were eliminated in the semi-final repêchage.[1][2] He competed at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne with the men's eight where they were eliminated in the semi-final.[1] Gushchenko died on 8 January 2024, at the age of 92.[3]
