George Cottle, Jr. is a British-American stuntman and second unit director, most known for his work with Christopher Nolan and films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Career
[edit]In 2019, Cottle, Jr. got his start in second unit directing with Spider-Man: Far From Home, after previously served as stunt coordinator in previous MCU films including Ant-Man and the Wasp and Spider-Man: Homecoming and on the films of Christopher Nolan. He returned for Spider-Man: No Way Home.[1]
In 2024, he served as supervising stunt coordinator and second unit director on Deadpool and Wolverine for Shawn Levy, who allowed him into the editing room to help with the editing and direction.[2][3]
Among the other films he directed second unit on include Red Notice, Barbie, and Haunted Mansion.
