Gehna – Zewar Ya Zanjeer (transl. Ornament – Jewal or Handcuff) is an 2024 Indian Drama television series which was aired on Dangal on 22 July 2024 under the banner of Story Square Productions.[1] It stars Divya Patil, Paras Arora in their lead roles.[2][3] It is an unofficial spin-off version of Nath – Zewar Ya Zanjeer.[4][5][6]
Plot
[edit]In some parts of India, families of educated men demand exorbidant dowries. So Pakadwa shaadi happens when poor families can't pay dowry. Grooms are kidnapped and force to marry at gunpoint. Gehna is one such story where a poor village girl meets such unforseen fate and what course her life takes afterwards.

[edit]Development and Casting
[edit]The series was announced on June 2024 by Story Square Productions and it was confirmed by Dangal on July 2024. Initially Divya Patil and Paras Arora were signed to play the lead roles while Garima Jain was signed to play the negative role in this show.[13][14]
Release
[edit]The first promo was released on 7 July 2024 featuring Divya Patil and Paras Arora.[15]
