Gbolabo Awelewa is a Nigerian cybersecurity leader currently serving as the Chief Solutions Officer (CSO) at Cybervergent,[1] a company specializing in cybersecurity solutions.[2] Awelewa has worked in information security and business information systems in sectors, including banking and technology. He has held roles at organizations such as Coronation Merchant Bank, Unified Payments, United Bank for Africa (UBA), and Interswitch Group.[3]
Certifications
[edit]Awelewa holds several professional certifications in cybersecurity,[4] including Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM),[5] and ISO Lead Implementer.[6] He has completed academic programs at Lagos State University, Rome Business School, and Harvard Executive Education in cybersecurity.[7]
