Gawłów [ˈɡavwuf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Sochaczew, within Sochaczew County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) north of Sochaczew and 50 km (30 mi) west of Warsaw.
Ambroży Mikołaj Skarżyński a Polish General who commanded a Napoleon's Imperial Guard squadron (Polish 1st Light Cavalry Regiment of the Imperial Guard) was born in the village.
