Gavin Lochow is an American football wide receiver for the Dayton Flyers.

Early life and high school

Lochow was born in Proctorville, Ohio, but at an early age moved to Huntington, West Virginia, playing little league football for the Beverly Hills Hawks football league.[3] He later attended Huntington High School (West Virginia) and lettered in lettered in football and basketball.[4] During his career with the Highlanders with a 28-8 all-time record and threw for over 5,500 yards, ran for over 2,800 yards and scored 11 total touchdowns with a 59% completion percentage.[5]

College career

Lochow made the switch from quarterback to wide receiver when he started his college career.[6]

During the 2023 season, he played in 11 games and started four of them, including his first game as a true freshman, finishing the season with 35 receptions for 402 yards and five touchdowns.[7][8][9]

Personal life

Lochow is the nephew of Julie Ditty, a former Top-100 WTA professional tennis player.[10]
