Gavin Lochow is an American football wide receiver for the Dayton Flyers.
Early life and high school
[edit]Lochow was born in Proctorville, Ohio, but at an early age moved to Huntington, West Virginia, playing little league football for the Beverly Hills Hawks football league.[3] He later attended Huntington High School (West Virginia) and lettered in lettered in football and basketball.[4] During his career with the Highlanders with a 28-8 all-time record and threw for over 5,500 yards, ran for over 2,800 yards and scored 11 total touchdowns with a 59% completion percentage.[5]
College career
[edit]Lochow made the switch from quarterback to wide receiver when he started his college career.[6]
During the 2023 season, he played in 11 games and started four of them, including his first game as a true freshman, finishing the season with 35 receptions for 402 yards and five touchdowns.[7][8][9]

Personal life
[edit]Lochow is the nephew of Julie Ditty, a former Top-100 WTA professional tennis player.[10]
