GRE Alpha is a Hong Kong–based lighting company. The company designs and manufactures solid-state lighting power supplies[1] and lighting control accessories.[2]

History

GRE Alpha was established as GRE Alpha Electronics, Ltd.[3] in Sha Tin, Hong Kong[4] in 2009. It has operations in North America (including in Gainesville, Georgia[5][6]), Hong Kong,[7][8] and Japan.[9][10]

GRE Alpha has partnered with America II,[11] ERG Lighting,[12] Marubeni Information Systems, Casembi,[13][14] and various other companies. GRE Alpha is also a regular participant in events such as LightFair 2023 in New York City,[15][16] Light + Building Autumn Edition 2022 in Frankfurt, Germany,[17] and the Nikkei Messe Exhibition in Tokyo.[18]

Richard Fong is the executive director of GRE Alpha.[19]

Overview

The company specializes in architectural lighting, effect and contour lighting, general commercial illumination, warehouses, signage, strip lighting, and smart lighting.

Its products include outdoor and indoor LED drivers,[20][21] LED dimming modules, and controls[22] with various control technologies:[23] 0-10V, DALI, DMX, Casambi BLE, Tuya Wifi/BLE, Xicato BLE, Zigbee, EnOcean,[24][25] AC phase dimming. GRE's modular approach allows its dimming modules and drivers to be used in new or existing installations.
