colors
[edit]It would be more educative if the colors attributed to each curve would more closely match the peak color of Wien's displacement law. I would suggest the following mapping:

3500 nm | black |
4000 nm | red |
4500 nm | green |
5000 nm | blue |
5500 nm | light blue |

[edit]I agree that the colors could be chosen better, but I believe the table above is also incorrect. The wavelength range of visible light is from about 400 to 700 nanometers or 4000 to 7000 angstroms. But that was probably just a typo. More importantly, high energy photons, which correspond to violet and blue light, have a short wavelength and belong closer to the 400nm end of the spectrum whereas low energy photons, corresponding to red light, have long wavelengths and fall toward the 700nm end of the spectrum. Choosing each curve to be represented by the color that corresponds to its peak wavelength would be very helpful. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Joshorndorff (talk • contribs) 07:43, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
