Hi, just noting that this image was removed from the page Hawksbill sea turtle on the grounds that it's not actually a Hawksbill turtle, it's actually a green turtle. And judging by pages like [1], a key way to tell Hawksbill and Green apart is the beaked bill on the Hawksbill, which the pic clearly doesn't have, so the removal seems legitimate. I'm not certain if it actually is a green turtle though, I'm not enough of an expert on that so would hesitate to just put it as a pic at green turtle directly. So seeking advice here, if you think a delist or just using the image elsewhere is appropriate. Pinging @MER-C, Adam Cuerden, Bammesk, PetarM, Sca, ScienceFan66, and Armbrust: who were involved in the FPC for this pic. Cheers — Amakuru (talk) 10:37, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am Ok with demoting it. That will fix the confusion. We do have an older FP of a Green turtle here: [2]. The more recent FP [3] has higher resolution. We can add the more recent FP to the Green turtle article and demote (delist) the older FP. I don't have strong feelings about it either way. Bammesk (talk) 01:24, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
