Minor errors and suggestions for improvment of the Video

[edit]

Thanks for your updated version and for the video in general!

0:24 you say the transaction is broadcast to the blockchain. I think it should read: "The funding transaction is being broadcasted to the blockchain". In more detail it is broadcasted to the bitcoin network and if successfully mined recorded in the blockchain (but I guess that would be too much detail.)

Also I am missing the fact that the commitment transactions are not published and used to encode the channel balances and are invalidated through penalties via RSMCs. Also it would be nice to mention that every channel partner has their own set of Commitment transactions. also you missed the fact, that the wallet is a multisig wallet.

I think the HTLCs are explained nicely. However I think the RSMCs for the payment channel could benefit from a little more detail. e.g. stating that ther is also a timelock in which only one party can spend the output if the party provides a revocation key.

I guess it is always a question of detail vs ease. So please see my suggestions rather as something to be discussed and not as a must have.

If you would like we could also make a small series of videos together explaining various parts of the lightning network in different detail levels.
