This is a bad-faith nomination meant simply to hassle me, as I've been marking several images RFU and annoying the nominator. Nonetheless, I'm happy to let this go through the process.

This is an album cover, and a prime example of a non-replaceable image (I think Jimbo used album covers specifically as an example of acceptable fair use at some point). It is only being used to illustrate the page about the album. I think it's therefore acceptable. However, if an admin disagrees with me and deletes it, I will have no problem with that decision, and I won't go whining on his/her talk page about what a luser they are and to get a life and why are you picking on me? cry cry sob sob. —Chowbok 23:44, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Quote from another user on your talk page-- Please also note that Jimbo said that in the discussions about anything, the argument "Jimbo said," like you invoked here, has no value whatsoever and editors should resolve disagreements without invoking such arguments. That sums up my commentary here. TheQuandry 03:04, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The fact that you have no real refutation of my main point demonstrates that this is not a good faith nomination. —Chowbok 03:14, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Your point was to simply state that album covers are non-replacable. This isn't true, and even if Jimbo said it was, the fact that he did isn't enforcable (which is something he also said). You could write to the record company, asking them to release this image or ask them to send you free promotional material left over from when the album was originally produced and marketed. Also, you haven't provided a detailed fair use rationale, as required by the fair use template when uploading. TheQuandry 04:13, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
