I dunno where to post this info....The "There are many things this page is NOT for" gives me the run-around on where to post this info so I'm just going to do it here.
For the record, this was not the official logo of the Cincinnati Celts football team. I made this logo about nine years ago for my old website called Cincy Sports which was located at www.CincySports.net. I didn't have a nice enough photo of their actual logo so I created one. I of course stated this on my old website but apparently it didn't stop people from using it. Now it is out there on the 'net and people think it was their actual logo...I don't have a problem with people using it, but they need know that it isn't the team's actual logo....

- I posted the logo after seeing it several times online. Many of the websites say it is the official lgo of the team, which is funny. But how much of the logo do you think is accurate. If it's like 70-90% accurate, I don't see too much of a problem keeping it. The Celts were a very old team and it is very hard to find any information on them, much less a logo.--Pennsylvania Penguin (talk) 13:59, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
The logo that I created looks very similar. Click below, I posted both logos.

If you are planning to continue using the logo that I created, I don't have a problem with it but I would ask to have my organization (Society For Cincinnati Sports Research) listed as the source and not the Logo Shack who didn't ask permission from me to use it in the first place. In their defense, they meant no harm. I think they lifted it from Logoserver.com, who lifted it from me....
Now if you want to use the actual logo, I got it from a Cincinnati author named Mark Grace. Grace provided the logo to me and should get the credit for the original. He has written a ton of books on Cincinnati sports. I personally think you should use the original one and delete mine all together...

- Done, I edited the logo info and gave source credit to the Society For Cincinnati Sports Research and Mark Grace. Also thank you for allowing it's use. --Pennsylvania Penguin (talk) 20:48, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
