Description
Svenska: FLASKA. Päronformig med insvängd hög hals och utsvängd mynningskant. Glasyren är ljust gröngrå, opak, på mynningskanten tunn med godset genomlysande; på två motsatta sidor en rödgredelin fläck. Jun-glasyr. Godset är brunaktigt, synligt inuti och under botten. Till flaskan hör ett sekundärt fotställ av trä (jakaranda). Flaskan har använts som behållare för vin. Dess enda dekor är två svagt kopparröda fläckar. Inköpt 1914 på utställningen för kinesisk konst och konsthantverk i Stockholm. Pris 2.400 kr. Den tidigare ägaren hade köpt flaskan från antikvitetshandlaren S. M. Franck & Co i London, som importerade föremål direkt från Kina och även sålde till Victoria & Albert Museum.Jun ware bottle. Yuan dynasty (1279-1368)The bottle was used as a wine container, and has two patches of purplish-coloured copper red glaze on its side as decoration.The piece was bought from the London dealer S M Franck & Co, who imported directly from China and sold many pieces to the Victoria and Albert Museum. Exhibited in Stockholm in 1914.
