English: Vaginal wet mount (using a potassium hydroxide preparation and light microscopy at 40x magnification) showing slings of pseudohyphae of Candida albicans (one annotated by arrow) surrounded by round vaginal epithelial cells, conferring a diagnosis of candidal vulvovaginitis.
