English: Ur-Ningirsu II Vorderasiatisches Museum, Berlin VA 8790.
English: This is the upper part of a diorite statuette of Ur-Ningirsu (son of Gudea and priest-prince of Lagash), dedicated to god Ningizzida (the cuneiform inscription was carved on the back of the statuette). Ningizzida was the Sumerian god of the underworld and the guardian of the gate of heaven. C. 2117 BC. From Southern Mesopotamia, Iraq. The Pergamon Museum, Berlin, Germany.
This statue has an inscription: "For Ningišzida, his (personal) god, Ur-Ningirsu, ruler of Laagaš, son of Gudea, ruler of Lagaš (broken) (Edzard 1997:185–186 E3/1.1.8.7).
Français : Il s'agit de la partie supérieure d'une statuette en diorite d'Ur-Ningirsu (fils de Gudea et prêtre-prince de Lagash), dédiée au dieu Ningizzida (l'inscription cunéiforme a été gravée au dos de la statuette). Ningizzida était le dieu sumérien des enfers et le gardien de la porte du ciel. C. 2117 BC. Du sud de la Mésopotamie, en Irak. Le Musée de Pergame, Berlin, Allemagne. Cette statue a une inscription: 'Pour Ningišzida, son dieu (personnel), Ur-Ningirsu, souverain de Laagaš, fils de Gudea, souverain de Lagaš (brisé) (Edzard 1997:185–186 E3/1.1.8.7)
